The New Clay Conference in Ottawa, Ontario May 24-26th 2019 Welcome to the New Clay Conference! Our mission is to strengthen the ceramics community in Eastern Ontario and Western Quebec by gathering together clay makers for an invigorating weekend of ceramic activity. We are reaching out to you early in the planning process with the hope that you will be a part of making New Clay happen in Ottawa.
This year’s conference is already off to an amazing start with renowned artists Carole Epp, Naomi Clement and Jason Burnett confirmed as our three main presenters. However, plans for conference panel discussions and professional development workshops are still underway.
Highlights:
3 amazing demonstrating artists all weekend: Carole Epp, Naomi Clement and Jason Bige Burnett
A panel discussion Friday evening on 'Making it in Craft' with a panel of experts who are making it in Craft in different ways
Slide Talk by the artists Saturday Night
More sesions and mini workshops in development and will be added as the event draws nearer
Venue location is centrally located with parking and public transportation available. There are ample shops and restuarants near by. More Information
